VPS in plain terms: what you pay for

A server (VPS) is a device just like your laptop or smartphone—only much more powerful and hosted in a data center. To run continuously, it needs three things: stable power, an internet connection, and healthy hardware. We take care of that part: we provide 24/7 power, a reliable network link, and look after the hardware—monitoring temperature, replacing failed components, and keeping it available.

All of the above is included in the service you pay for. Simply put, we ensure the device is operational and connected to the network. That is our responsibility area. We don’t limit your tasks or scenarios—we just provide the foundation they run on.

  • 24/7 power
  • Internet connectivity
  • Hardware health
What you do

Once you receive the server, you use it like your own computer. You can host websites and control panels, run chatbots, game or voice servers, databases, message queues, or your own applications. The server runs around the clock, and you decide what’s installed and how it’s configured.

Keep in mind: installing and configuring software, updates, security, backups, and fixing issues inside the software are your responsibility. We maintain the device and the connection, while you manage the software layer.

To make it simple: imagine you bought a computer and installed a game. If the game has a bug, you contact the game developer—the computer seller has nothing to do with it. VPS works the same way: we ensure the device runs; the behavior and correctness of the installed software are on your side or the software developers’ side.

If you need help with configuration, we can offer additional paid professional services. By default, a VPS is a reliable “device in a data center” with power, internet, and working hardware, on which you can freely run your own solutions.
